“ Very impressed with this. Missed a few photos but let’s get to it. Sat at the bar. Promptly greeted. Bartenders were busy but polite and thorough. Barrel aged old fashioned was good. Didn’t like the maple / bourbon drink as much as I had hoped. Flavors didn’t combine well for me. Hush puppies were great. The wings were excellent. Loved the take on them. Burger was perfect. Fries looked the part, but just didn’t send it over the top for me. Unsure if underseasoned, or if it’s just a “healthy” version of a French fry. Good, but something was off. Bbq chicken was great, not drenched. Overall I loved it. Very open, very tastefully designed. Personally would rather go here than dutchess etc. ”
“ It was our first time in Deep Creek and this place came highly recommended and I can see why. The view was phenomenal and eating outside was a treat. Our server was friendly, kind, and fast. Our drinks were delicious and I was impressed by the creativity and variety of the cocktails offered (so good I couldn't have just one). My husband's scallops were large and the curry sauce was flavorful. My tuna tacos were delicious (I loved the mango slaw). Not pictured was the street corn dip which was seasoned incredibly well with a little bit of heat. My only complaint was I didn't order some of the dip to go. Honestly a truly lovely experience. ”
“ OUTSTANDING! We sat at the bar. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. The service staff was soooooo friendly and very willing to give drink and food recommendations. We ordered the fried green tomatoes with crab ..... mouthwatering delicious! Excellent selection of craft cocktails too. Yummy!!!! There is also outdoor seating by the water. If we lived here Firewater would definitely be our go-to restaurant! ”
“ We enjoyed our first visit for Happy hour so much we came back the next night for dinner. Beautiful location, fabulous view, great food and drinks! We had deviled eggs, crab and corn hush puppies, street corn dip, shrimp and grits- everything was delicious! The staff is superior..the bar is run like a fine tuned machine. Derek and his team are on point- drinks were excellent and made with such precision. Clay is the go to guy for outstanding shooters! We absolutely cannot wait to visit again! ”
